Marlene Stone - President & CEO

Marlene started Intellitrends in 1989 bringing her market research passion and knowledge to companies to help validate market position, assess brand positioning, identify impacting trends, and define strategic focus. During a decade long research relationship with her first love and client –national drug chain Arbor Drugs - to another proud decade with the dynamic and highly successful Little Caesars® “family” – Intellitrends continues to blossom with documented project case studies in every industry sector and company size from automotive to advertising, retail, manufacturing, industrial, government, education and healthcare.

What I love about business? The clients – seeing the renewed energy that research gives to their vision – helping them discover that “ah ha” moment that provides the direction, triggers new thinking in operations, sales, advertising and generates a new wave of product innovation. I love the challenge of designing the “best” approach to accomplish the goal, but still love the one to one interaction with real and very diverse consumers who are always eager and willing to share.

Transplanted from across the border, Marlene is a graduate of The University of Western Ontario with a Diplome de Francais Pratique in French Language and Literature.  She has professional certifications from multiple research associations and Intellitrends is a nationally certified Women Owned Business Enterprise (WBENC).

The fun stuff? Spending time with my kids up north, canoeing, kayaking, fall MSU football games, taking pictures, reading. During the week - working to raise funds for Clarkston based SCAMP (a summer camp for children and youth with disabilities) or the new Clarkston Center for Performing Arts.

Keith Stone - Executive Vice President & COO

With over 30 years in global sales and marketing management with high technology industry leaders such as Oracle Corporation, Siebel Systems, and PeopleSoft Corporation, Keith knows what it takes to “win.” In his role as Strategic Global Accounts Manager to General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Kellogg Company, and Dow Chemical Corporation, he marketed and sold in excess of $200 million in software and IT services.

What I love about business? Learning what makes companies and people tick. I really enjoy the strategy behind the scenes. Finding facts is what we do. If you like the mystique behind forensics, you will love what we do. For me, learning the facts, then applying them to your objectives is what I like best about my job. It is especially rewarding when watching the results play out to the benefit of my clients!

To add to my years of practical experience, I earned my degree at Wayne State University after a proud year in Vietnam, compliments of the U.S. Army, and then earned an MBA in Global Management.

The fun stuff? I really enjoy my family, raising 3 kids is definitely a challenge, but oh, the rewards of watching them mature and begin their own dreams is especially gratifying. Now I can spend more time on the trout streams of Northern Michigan, and motoring around on a summer’s day on our pontoon boat. During the week, I am a gym workout nut, love to kick in the endorphins by lifting and running.

Jennifer Herrmann - Office Manager

Jennifer joined the Intellitrends team in January 2011 as our Office Manager.  Her responsibilities range from performing administrative duties to accounting to certain human resource functions.  In a nutsheel, she wears many hats and keeps our office running smoothly!  She also provides comic relief in the afternoons, if needed!

Prior to joining Intellitrends, Jennifer was the Production Manager of MOTOR Magazine, a publication of Hearst Business Publishing, Inc.  She holds a degree in Graphic Design and Commercial Arts.

What I love about business? There's nothing better than being surrounded by creative people!  I like being part of the energy when we work together with clients and bounce ideas off each other.  Everyone has the same goal - to make a business successful...and that vibe is contagious!

The fun stuff? I am very involved in my community and am honored to be the PTO President at my children's elementary school.  My husband and I spend our evenings and weekends cheering on our kids at their baseball games and Scottish Highland Dance competitions.  (We are their biggest fans!)

The fun stuff? I enjoy spending time with my husband and three almost-grown children, especially on our boat and at our cottage in New York State.  I workout regularly so I can keep up with my family, but my favorite part is when my workout is over!  I am very involved in counseling and teaching adolescents at my church and in the local public schools.

Most of my free time is dedicated to spending time with family and friends or just enjoying time with my husband.  When I am not spending time with them you can find me baking up some cupcakes, enjoying the outdoors, dancing, helping my husband with the business or spending time with my "furbabies," Zoe (Dog) and Charlie (Guinea Pig).
